The Artists Cooperatives primary focus is to create events that bring together people from varied experiences, allowing them to participate in the shared, community-based consciousness. We plan, organize, and execute events that are mouthpieces of contemporary culture, resulting in happenings that are organic, progressive, and interactive. We try to bring cultural, political, environmental, spiritual, and self- awareness to our events— although we do so in ways that are subtle and relate to the conception of each event more than the outcome, the larger community recognizes the importance of what we do.
The group was founded in Fall 2007.
