The SUNY Albany Artists Cooperative is officially founding Albany Upcycle!!!

Albany Upcycle is a group that creates useable goods through a process that re-envisions discarded materials.

Everything is handmade by our members!

Prices are affordable.

The Artists Cooperative is insanely excited about the Eat Local Challenge. We try to eat as long as possible, hopefully you will all be inspired by our dedication!!!!

Are you Ready? EAT LOCAL CHALLENGE. So you have decided to take the challenge! Wondering how you'll choose to play along?
Ways you can play!
*spend at least 10% of my weekly food budget on local foods
*Make 5 meals each week from locally grown and produced foods.
*Buy directly from a local farm or farmers' market as often as possible.
*Choose local foods whenever possible & request local where I shop and dine.
*Patronize local grocers, retailers & restaurants that feature local food.
* Preserve fresh seasonal foods to enjoy later in the year(Freeze, can, dehydrate)
