Arbor Hill Community Center Mural Project

We are helping the children at the Arbor Hill Community Center create a mural about their community and what their community means to them. These pictures are from the initial drafting and design workshop. They focused on ideas of brotherhood, unity, nature, music, books, art, and reaching for the stars.

We started the project Winter 2008 and we are slated to finish May 2009.

1st Friday: Loud Hip-Hop, Silent Art Raffle.

This event was a fundraiser for the Artists Cooperative. All art and gifts were donated by local artists and businesses. This event was in conjunction with Broadcast Live’s Official CD Release Party, which featured local musicians Oddy Gato and DJ Truemaster, as well as Ithaca-based group The Gunpoets.

Coop Does Gifts

A few of our members (Tegan Barron-Shashok, Monica Jerminario, and Leigh LaBrake) participated in a handmade gift-making service for the holidays. We set up an ETSY storefront. The profits went to the individual artists. We sold handmade winter hats, cards, aromatherapy products, and specialty tea blend.
